Rubikonn is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data we collect through rubikonn.com, our contact form, our LinkedIn pages and ads, and our conversations with you before you become a client.

It does not cover data processed inside the RubIQ platform for our clients. In RubIQ, each client decides what data is processed and is the controller of it; Rubikonn processes it on the client's behalf under the client agreement, which sets out how that data is handled, secured and deleted. If you use RubIQ through your employer, your employer's privacy notice applies, and you can contact them or us with questions.

What we collect

When you contact us or request a demo

Through the contact form on our website, a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, by email, or in a call, we collect:

  • your name and work email address
  • your company name, and your job title and company size if you share them
  • what you are interested in, if you choose it, and anything you tell us in your message or during a call

When you visit our website

  • information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, time spent, and the page that referred you
  • this is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and similar technologies below)
  • when you use our contact form, basic technical signals that help us tell people from automated spam

From LinkedIn

When you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, LinkedIn shares the details you submitted with us. When you interact with our ads, LinkedIn may give us aggregated reports that do not identify you.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive personal data such as health, religious or financial account information.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as far as they need it:

  • Google: Google Analytics for website analytics, reCAPTCHA to protect our contact form, and Google Workspace for email, calendar and video calls
  • LinkedIn, for our advertising and Lead Gen Forms, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag if we enable it
  • the providers that host our website and keep it secure
  • professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer personal data abroad, we rely on the safeguards the provider offers, such as standard contractual clauses, and take reasonable steps to make sure your data stays protected.

Cookies and similar technologies

We count visits with our hosting provider's privacy-friendly analytics. It uses no cookies, does not identify you, and only gives us aggregate statistics such as page views, referring sites and country.

With your consent, our website also uses:

  • Google Analytics, to count visits and see how the site is used, such as which pages, buttons and questions people open and whether the film is watched, only if you accept analytics cookies in our banner. It sets cookies that identify your browser, not you by name. We don't use it for advertising, and we never send it your name, email or message.
  • Google reCAPTCHA, on our contact page, to tell people from bots. It collects information about your device and how you use the page. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag, if we enable it and only if you accept, to measure the results of our LinkedIn ads and to show our ads to people who visited our site. LinkedIn reports these results to us in aggregate.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. You can manage LinkedIn ad settings in your LinkedIn account. Blocking cookies does not stop you from using our website, though the contact form needs reCAPTCHA to work.

How long we keep it

Client business contactsFor as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for as long as the law requires

Depending on the law that applies to you, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your data

To use any of these rights, email info@rubikonn.com. We will reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You can also opt out of our follow-up emails at any time by replying to say so.

Security

We protect personal data with reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will say so on this page.
